In the city for two months, looking for a chunk of something to take home. Spending most of my time staring at the ground; noticing how dirty and how clean it is.
I took the dog for a walk around the concrete park.
“Is that a rat dog? They used to have rats around here. They got rid of the grass on account of the rats. I thought he was a rat dog.”
